What is EDG?
European experts in the field of wood drying have decided to form the European Wood Drying Group (www.timberdry.net) as a follow up process of the COST E15 activities. The structure and composition of EDG is designed to consider all professional aspects of wood drying, including wood science, engineering, know how transfer and education. EDG membership is open for wood drying specialists from research institutes, universities and consultancies. EDG also welcomes industrialists engaged with the design and manufacturing of dry kiln and moisture measuring systems as well as practitioners experienced in the drying of wood.
